@Josh Morgenthau inspired me to open one of these and wanted to check in on one with age. Glad I did. Preposterous nose of huge granite, lemon, some tropical fruits and exotic flowers. Amazing lime and lemon drop. Focused and round nose with such lovely granitic precision. Bit of honey and tree bark. Palate is rich and energetic with wonderful edgy and granite driven Marsanne minerality. Excellent acid and freshness and uncommon depth. Great purity. What grip. Best white wine value in all of the N. Rhone.

Been a minute since I’ve had the 2014. Nose is yellow fruited with intense Marsanne minerality. Some flowers and spice as well. Palate is super precise and elegant with lovely density and wonderful purity. Intense minerality and terrific mouthfeel. Almost like icing on a cake.

Buttery, salmony (not fishy, but pleasantly fatty) richness. Rubenesque Norma Jean, not bulemic Gap model. Yowza!! Wildflower honey fruity goodness, epic finish. Open long for best results.

A bit more honeyed than the 2013 Not obnoxiously so like many northern rhone whites. This will be better for ageing and the 13 for early drinking. Nice rich finish. A really really great wine for the price. Great with pork.

Nose is a bit mute on opening. Some mineral. I think it is too cold. Palate is fresh, thick, dynamic and mineral. Juicy and really dynamic Marsanne minerality. It's so dense and palate staining. Such a great value.

Gorgeous nose. Mineral, deep and delicate. Wet earth, granite, exotic fruits, white flowers, honey. Very aromatic. Palate is wonderfully viscous and textured. That lovely waxy Marsanne thing, along with some super young and undeveloped mineral/fruit flavors. This needs a major decant on the palate. But it is all there as evidenced by the juicy and persistent finish. Very elegant and finesse like 2014 is known for up North and a lovely underlying structure. Very pure.

This wine is miraculous. Incredible balance for a young Rhone wine. Rich but balanced. St Jospeh ? Yup. Bought from Fass selections.
