Wasn't impressed with this on first opening - felt a bit mushed-up-fruit and lacking interest. But the second day when more chilled it turns out to be a good midweek white. Lemondrop, melon, apricot, peach, pear. Decent finish too.

This is the best white wine I've ever tasted. Light and airy, but still has some curves on its luscious body.

A bit too much acidity, and god knows am not that sensible to it... but still very enjoyable with food.

2013 was a harrowing vintage for many Loire Valley producers and it shows here. austere and sharp, almost no fruit, most of the characteristics are secondary. slightly better with some salmon, but not much. #loirevalley #cheninigans #cheninblanc
