A very intriguing bottle from the strangest of vintages. Dom. Chev. Blanc is flat out one of the greatest white wines in the world, and they produced a honeyed, full bodied drink that took quite a while to open, and showed no signs of age. The acid seemed low (no surprise for an 03) and the finish was not endless like it usually is, but the wine had a ton of breed none the less. I think it was best with the inventive scallop tostada that we had as an appetizer.

Been hearing plenty of chatter about 03 Bordeaux falling apart. Decided to taste 1 for myself. Conclusion DdlCr 03 showing well tonight. Nice glass of wine won't last forever but tasty.

This was the best btl of more than 2 cases consumed that was really drinking well tonight showing lots of red cherry, berry, plum & cassis fruits, sweet spices with notes of earth, cedar, leather & tobacco. Rich, round & seamless showing good balance & length.

Un autre excellent Domaine de Chevalier. Tout y était, tabac, boite à cigare, graphite, mine de crayon, fruit rouge, belle trame tannique, complexité moyenne, il n’y avait la chaleur du millésime dans ce bouteille, belle finale soutenu. J’ai bien aimé
