Chinon Cabernet Franc

Semi-carbonic cab franc in all its glory. Juicy red fruit, leafy greens, fennel and moderate tannins. Garçon, bring me a roast chicken!

Solid quaffer. Cab Franc kind of night.

Pyrazine is integrated with red and black fruit. Note a considerable amount of sediment at the bottom of the bottle

Lovely Cab Franc... Beautiful color... Dusty dark cherries...

Medium bodied, super dry, with a little pepper, oak, mineral & earth, even a slight pleasant mustiness. Not super complex but good. From Shawn's.

dry. soft tannins. plum. tobacco. leather. not too heavy. delicious. buy again.

Overly ripe fruit, not a typical chinon which was disappointing.

Angular at first. Softened up after a few. Not my favorite from Chinon, but not bad either.
