From split opened half hour before consumption. Earth, red fruit, and a hint of funk. Smooth tannins; searing acidity. Probably could use another five years to achieve better balance.

A wonderful bottle. Silky smooth, nice red fruit,, forest floor, spice with nice tannins and acidity. Give it a nice decant and she opens right up.
