Show stopper. This is likely peaking for the cold and wet 2004 vintage. Turned earth, dill pickle and craisins. Purchased from the Senard family during our visit !

Such an elegant burgundy, tannin is silky smooth for the 2007 vintage which makes it very well drinkable now (compared to the 2006 grand cru). Fruity, with some complexity of vanilla. Loved it
