Same notes apply as from prior experiences.

Citrus-Yellow apple, fresh dough, cold mineral, pear peel, dry.

Patio pounder for this afternoon, heavy rains kept us from enjoying the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood for most of the weekend. Today was blueberry picking, 27 lbs was the haul. Then lawn mowing, argh. Now time for a Languedoc crémant.

On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our guest conductor Moritz Gnann is leading WAGNER (Siegfried Idyll), MOZART (Piano Concerto No. 27 in B-flat) with the outstanding Paul Lewis on piano and SCHUMANN (Symphony No. 3, Rhenish).

Unpretentious and easy going. Citrus-Yellow apple, fresh dough, cold mineral, pear peel, dry. Comfortably priced at $12 for a tasty Lawn pounder. It's easy to find value in French sparkling wines if you seek out the popular crémant regions.

Hard to beat this for the price. I've had worse bottles of bubbles for 4 times the money.

Straight Lemony Snickets right off the bat! Tanned hide and biscuit. Meyer lemon. Decently small bubbles, lemon pith, sour yeast and ferro-magnesium shards pepper the bright finish.
