2014 vintage. Soufflot 65 euros. Coche known for his whites but the reds are really good too.

My first Coche, and unnaturally a red one. Sour cherry, smoked meat, a bit of tar, iron and some floral notes on the wonderful appealing nose. Great acidity on the palate, lush but simultaneously so elegant & fine. Amazing drinkability. WOTN.

Very primary with tons of ripe dark berry fruit. Lots of dense power.

2010 is tightening up.

Dark color, in the nose open, fruit driven, hints of herbs. Tannins present but nice integrated. Medium bodied

Classic matchstick on nose. Fairly precise. Found after a few hours, slightly tiring, which was a surprise

Bright red cherry. Very fruit forward. Sexy spice. Open and pure.
