Incredible vintage for Coche. The 2011 Meursault is as good as it gets for white burgundy, with signature Coche fireworks on full display, wafting layered aromatics and a stunningly textured palate with killer density and volume. Unbeatable with the cuisine at CTBF!

A touch of honey on the nose, some lime and pear . Fantastic acidity- bright and defined. With time in glass this gets more intense and Coche-y. Great balance. Delicious

Loads of extract and zip. Quite ripe but with brilliant balancing acidity. Intense and long. Delicious

White burg perfection. Captivatingly complex aromatics with Coche fireworks on full display, layered with popcorn, citrus oils and white flowers. What texture on the palate. Incredible volume and density, particularly for the vintage, fills the mouth with vibrant energy and phenomenal length. So good.

Amazing bright fruit. Stuck match, vivacious lemon and steel. Great texture and dazzling acidity. Delicious

Served blind. I nailed the vintage, even a broken clock is right twice a day. A spectacular nose of smoke, flowers and a dose of reduction. In the mouth, intensity and freshness . Minerals & green fruit that reminded me of Chablis to start but no way given the weightlessness. Waves of crisp fruit with exceptional balance. Most producers would be happy to make a premiere cru or grand cru of this quality. It might be an overused descriptor or cliché, but this was all about pureness. According to my friend purchased on release, and locked away. A reminder of how important proper storage is.
