Nov 19th, 2021This is the stuff. I love this vineyard in Chavy’s hands. Nose of the nicest lemon ever. It’s a lemon party. Maybe not the best choice of words for the internet. Anyway. Lemon, wet stones, judicious use of discreetly framed oak, like a chef’s salting of a salad. So many wet stones. The nose pierces you. So intense. High toned. Palate has acid. Yeah! Wow, so so bright and mineral. Insane complexity and tight but the sappiness, purity and length show the high quality of this special site. A profound effort.

Wow. Nose is floral minerality. Palate hits You with crushed rocks. Then a sweet richness. Meyer lemon? Intense. Very juicy. Some lemon zest. Very very good st aubin. Delicious.

The definition of a "wow!" wine... Gorgeous color, stupendous nose of honey, white flowers, bouquet garni/slightly reductive/smooth, supple & elegant in the mouth/fantastic flavors of honeydew melon, nectarines, white peaches/long, complex finish. Can't say enough good things about this wine...
