Nose is gorgeous. Lemon, lime, minerals, kiss of oak, stunning salinity and hazelnuts. Subtle, complex and complete. Juicy and so clean. Treacly icing like texture and so juicy, pure and balanced. Elegant. Not a hair out of place. Sappy. Long. Amazing complexity. Nutty, saline and appley. Just a stunning bottle of Puligny.

Jul 18th, 2022The vintage where Chavy turned up the volume. Awesome nose of apple, spice, mineral, a lanolin like quality, just so pure and expressive. Superbly mineral. With authority. Palate is decadent yet firmly mineral and accented with perfect amounts of sweet oak, just a lovely hit of opulence and tremendous acids. Long, winding and gorgeously mineral finish. Very pure and very good. So delicious. As it airs loads of mineral complexity on the palate and lovely iodine saline hits on the finish.

Nov 21st, 2019Lovely wine. Ripe 2015 nose, but mineral and stunningly fresh. Palate has terrific energy and richness while also being compact and balanced. Very pure and lovely to drink now. Pop and pour. Gorgeous purity. Terrific length and mineral dynamism on the finish.

Apr 19th, 2019The nose just announces itself with rich hazelnuts, extremely well integrated oak, lemon, apple, white peaches and also exceedingly mineral and almost smells like a breeze. Quite complex with terrific aromatic depth. On point. Palate is classic CC, with incredible balance between richness and super rocky minerality. Reminds me of river stones in a babbling brook. As it is young there is a hint of wood on the palate but I’ve had enough of these to know this will integrate. Impressive texture, balance and terrific purity. The inner mouth aromas Are so clear and vivid. It’s so elegant yet substantial. Structured, dense, juicy and explosive. So long and pure. Brilliant wine. Will age for a decade at least.

Beautiful P-M fruits, too young, better as the wine warms, over ripe pineapple, light oak, well balanced mineral, this wine is still hiding it's true self.

Needs an hour to open up. Lovely nose. Lemon zest. Palate is mineral. Sweet lemon. Lovely bit of richnesss. Just shimmering on the palate. Great texture. The meerest hint of oiliness that makes it stick. Bought from Fass Selections ... as this evolves I’m getting some peach ? Internal aromatics starting to soar. Some lemon pith. Really perfect fruit. Juicy. Man this is great.

Incredible site just below Batard Montrachet. Slight reduction on open, doesn’t over power the citrus, shows a little bit of barrel not. Great wine.
