Wonderful but to nitpick when it warmed up it did get a bit rich for me and shows that 19 is low-ish acid and not as acidic as initially thought.

Killer nose. Buttery and rich with gorgeous iodine and saline. Some green apple fruit as well. Herbs. Tree bark. Super complex. Really just lights out aromas. The good 15’s really are just tremendous and this is one of them. A wow nose. Gorgeously complex and rich with awesome purity and freshness. Has the 15 richness but also so much freshness from the minerality. Really elegant and such focus. Sweet spices on the mid palate and so well knit and put together. Such length. Wow. Superb concentration. Great structure that ensures at least another decade. Best 15 white burg I’ve had yet.

What a knockout. Swirling nose of white flowers, hazelnuts, iodine, discreet oak, wet earth and lovely stones. So aromatic and complex. Layered, ethereal aromas. Really great. Palate is rich yet chiseled and refined. Gorgeous purity and finesse. Finishes very mineral. Complex, structured and deep. Really superb. Classic Puligny. Will be amazing in 5 years. Superb balance and freshness. Dominated by minerals and structure now but still can be drunk.

Initially the nose starts out woody, lemony, earth and sinewy but it integrates beautifully after 1.5 hours. It’s so mineral and there are hints of ocean breeze and a super saline element. River stones and citrus work their way in as does apple and pear. The nose once it gets going and man, does it get going, becomes impossibly complex. Just stunning. Speechless stunning. What great white burg is about. The palate is just a beast. Wow. It’s ultra concentrated and ultra refined at the same time. It just explodes initially and then it spreads and pumps acid, fruit and mineral for what seems like forever. A stunning Champ Gain. Wow is this a great wine. In 5-8 years this will make grown men cry

Needs at least an hour decant to integrate perfectly at this point (for my admittedly purist palate). Rich fruit minerals and lime on the nose. Wall of flavor on the palate. Huge juicy fruits. Peach. Apricot. Pineapple. Massive acidity and minerals. Gorgeous inner mouths aromatics. Long spicy mineral finish. This producers style is very impactful. Delicious powerful wines. More trumpets than harps. But beautiful trumpets. Bought from Fass Selections. After 90 minutes almost some nuttiness on the nose. Really palate soaking.

On the nose closed. On the palate ... basically an orgy. Ridiculous umame. Savory. Rich. But acidically balanced. If that’s a word. With chicken in cream sauce this would be heaven. Check back in 18 months. The upside on this wine could be very very high. The downside is just really delicious. Ok an hour in this is sick. I mean sick and profound. Internal aromatics are kicking in. Incredible wine. Do not touch for 18 months. Once the nose kicks in this will be a bucket list experience.

Chavy-Chouet hit it out of the park in 14. Hickory smoke, hazelnuts, iodine, lemon tart, so mineral. Just lifting and beautiful. A baby, with taught acidity and intense minerality. Super structured and vast. My score will go higher. As it aerates.

Mineral, lemon oil, touch of oak; structured. Needs time.
