Such a great vintage!

Smells of barnyard beauty.
Slight salinity, pomegranate (seeds and all), black raspberry, Thai basil, black walnut, popsicle stick tannin.
Smooth and well integrated tannin/acidity, this is a wine to help contemplate the great Jazz works of McCoy Tyner..

Agree with most of the posts- not super exciting aromatics for a CDP not a horrible wine - would have been better with food (out of 375ml)

Another Rhone that I like a lot but don't love. Not a bad wine at all, and I don't mean to "damn with faint praise"...

Great for a 2003. Still quite structured.

Финики, лакрица, вишнёвка с корицей, торт, замша, сладкие пряности. Тело весьма полное, вкус с легкой горчинкой, огромным количеством вяленых ягод, копчёностями. Послевкусие весьма продолжительное.

Clean, balanced. Not over top, not amazing but solid. The 20% Syrah is at the front of the pack right now. Perfect for a #thegirlandthefig burger and deference to @Sondra Bernstein's #rhonealone ethos.

Fruit starting to mellow out. Classic CDP aromatics, everything is in balance. Still needs time.

1978 Vintage. Still alive. Not at all pruny.
