Beaune-Bastion 1er Cru Blanc Chardonnay

blend of 1er Cru holdings. elegant, hint of floral on nose, red apple, pear. moderate acidity. lovely

This was actually the Blanc not the Rouge

Lovely burg (bartender smelled pears) but again on the surprisingly lighter side esp given age...didn’t stand up well to an unaged Gouda....realized afterward should have ordered the ‘15
