What an amazing value, year after year. Love. Many-layered floral perfume. Wow.

Soft wine with fresh red berries and pepper on the nose and palate. Some earthiness and chocolate in the background. Should pair nicely with seared duck breasts.

15 years old and was incredible. Still had great color more purple then ruby. Great acidity and complex. This would hold it’s own against 15 year old Burgundy. Thank you Somm Select. 3 bottles left in the cellar!

Close to 15 years old. Still amazing vitality. I paid $30 on SommSelect in Dec. 2018.

Nose: heavy raisin & dried black fruit w/ a balsamic like underpinning
Front/back: Deceptively bright for being so rich and supple. Incredibly soft tannins.
Finish: Mildly fruity, with a slight earthy underpinning that lingers for a moderate amount of time.

I was very surprised by this wine. I loved it after the first sip and is a great holiday/party wine.
