Côtes du Roussillon Grenache Blend

Chaparral, plums, anise. A bit of heat on the finish.

Mostly red fruit, acid, a little rosy, licorice snap, garrigue, wet cement. Pretty damn good for a cheapie. Like a little baby CDP.

A wine out of my birthday present box... Pretty nose. Nice finish. Definitely Grenache...from the Cotes du Roussillon...

This big, highly extracted and Grenache-based wine has really sweet almost jammy bluish fruit with dried fig notes. What is remarkable are the really large chain but dupple tannins. It's drinkable, but this is not what Grenache should be for me.

Didn’t love. Wasn’t that it was bad, but it was a bit too jammy for me.

Fruity and fresh. Didn't seem very alcoholic despite claimed 15%. Would buy again if very cheap (<$10).

Really just more "mineral" than my palate prefers.

2013. Ok buy for the price. Not a great amount of depth on the part of the Grenache but enjoyed enough for a house red with Mac and cheese.
