Dark savory fruit with a gnarly savory undertow. A whiff of almost tobacco. This has a nice mouthfeel and decent finish. I suspect it would have been better 5 years ago.

Special bottle. Dazzling cherry with refreshing acidity, amazing balance and wonderful mouthfeel. Great rec!

2008 vintage. Opened with a Durand and decanted. Fantastic floral and earthy nose. Tasted 15 minutes and 1.25 hours after decanting. Lighter color. Body light/light-medium initially but gained weight after decanter time. Rhubarb and cranberry dominant with a noticeable tartness that drove the bus and didn’t diminish over time. First time with this producer and impressions were good enough overall to investigate further. 9.28.25

Generous spice melange mixes with the smell of dusty books (in a good way,) complimented by delicate unripe blackberry, prunes, dried flowers. A masterpiece.
