Domaine Bruno Clair
"Les Grasses Têtes" Marsannay Pinot Noir
Woodland and cranberry scents, intense aromas-medium bodied sappy red fruits. Enormous depth and layers of texture. This wine shows it’s potential right now.

May 30th, 2020Pulled this out of the cellar to pour on our pairing menu this weekend. It’s in a great spot for quail, gnocchi and truffles. Pure morello cherry 🍒 with a bit of tannic structure. A family that goes back to 1898 in Marsannay.

Apr 19th, 2019Very young and not integrated, with oak sticking out at odd angles. Fruit and concentration in great evidence. Vanilla, raspberry, and hints of humus. Gonna be a delicate charmer in its golden years.

Oct 6th, 2018Still a little too young, with sweet oak on the nose, but well integrated on the palate, and good length.

Feb 12th, 2017Very feminine and light bodied. Wonderful seafood compliment for even lighter flakey fish. Lots of acid and floral components. Dusty potting soil like earth with a lengthy cedar finish. Pretty and classic burgundy.
