Very fruity nose that went from pear to pineapple preserves. The fruit is slightly fake... Structure wise, amazing. 2014 is such a good year and it shows through here.

Forward and fatty, wide open. Drinking well for a youthful wine and not one I’d wager on cellaring for too long

Granny smith apples, lemon curd, white flowers... Grippy, sexy mouthfeel - what more could you ask for? They don't call it Grand Cru for nothin'!

A fabulous 2006 (older but still remarkable) to find on the wine list at Mama's Fish House on Maui. Enjoyed with the fresh fish catch of the day.

This pulled through. We feared premox from the color but the wine filled out after about 30 minutes. Acid was there, and eventually kind of a pear compote along with cheese rind and saline. A wine that improved for about 2 hours and then started to fade at the very end. Nice, subtle, not a blockbuster. Drink if you have. CT
