A little too vegetal and the fruit has peeled away quite a bit. This is much different than the last bottle that I had. Was hoping for more, and even decanted first two hours to see if that might help, but it did not.

In the audio world they say you can get great sound at a great price, but just not very much of it. This Morgeot has the engaging complexity and breed of the top class, but lacks "gras" like tiny speakers lack bass. It was a wonderful, bright, cranberry fruited, elusively savory partner to our lamb and perhaps would put on weight with time. Thanks @Charles Curtis for inspiring me to explore these Original Grand Cru's of Burgundy!

Dark fruit with nice backbone. Acidity elevates this wine. Very good

This was super interesting. A strong burnt rubber / petroleum nose. Light to medium.

Quince, spiced apple. Smooth brown butter and burnt sugar. White floral notes. A bit of oxidization creeping in.
