Woah. Minervois FTW. Much akin to non carbonic gamay. Peppery and meaty with tart red fruits and fine tannin. Red wine for warm temps.

A pretty good bottle from Minervois. Fruit-driven in style, as you might expect, with some cherry and cranberry flavors dominating. The blend is smooth, but a bit flat; the fruit does not have the vivaciousness I might expect from this appellation. A blend of Cinsault, Syrah, and Carignan. 6/25/23.
