A racy Pinot noir nothing to compare with Burgundy, maybe just a bit of character like - it is intense, more ripe, light smoky notes and maybe missing some little acidity - however a nice wine very pleasant that I would be happy to see evolve - had a nice moment 😃🍷

Their Pinot game is also much better than we give them credit for in Alsace. This was poised, almost regal, in its ample texture and deep red berry fruit. Kind of felt Californian in its aromatics, but was all Burgundy texturally.

Still quite primary redfruits, a tad riper than red Burgundy and not quite as silky smooth, yet a wonderful and complex Pinot Noir nonetheless, should improve for at least 5+ years, but lovely now, long, lingering finish, purchased en situ in May of 2019.
