Vieilles Vignes Maranges Le Goty Pinot Noir

Lovely, textbook pinot. Very floral on the nose. Palate features sweet fruit, very pure and well defined. Berry / cherry, with a hint of licorice and herbs. Velvety texture and lifted, almost airy feel. Really good stuff, hard to put down the glass.

Violets, cherry, floral, underbrush, oak spice, hint of vanilla, long tart finish. Really good.

Everything you could want in a weeknight burg. Nice value.

Could use bit more structure to rein in its exuberant fruit. Full of flavor, with enough acidity, but the aromatic range can be wider and livelier. Feels slightly conservative.

Very nice burgundy, especially for the price. Quite aromatic with well balanced earth, acid, and fruit. Tannins are present but with a bit of air integrate well. Not the longest finish and I’d suggest not decanting but for a Monday night burgundy with a roast chicken I’ll take it any day.

Very delicate. Soft acidity

Classic elegant burgundy. Quite silky despite the youth of the vintage. Should gain at being decanted. Excellent wine
