Vieilles Vignes Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir

Very round red fruit, raspberry and cherry. Very tasty.

Still alive and kicking. Red fruits, violet and herbal tea. More secondary fruit but wish was not last bottle.

Wow.

Delicious from open. Fresh, bright dark red fruit, good acid and some sugary sweetness.

Starting to show a little generosity but still quite stern and young

Mallard and leftovers.

Oddly green. I like the underlying material, but the dirty pyrazine character is distracting.

Leftover duck and venison sausage gumbo.

So pretty, elegant, and refined. Love this wine.

An absolutely stunning wine! Vintage 2005. A stunning nose, full of cherries and minerality. Earthy, fresh and tasting vibrantly youthful. On the palate a follow thru of the nose, with great acidity, charming notes of red cherries and a touch of darker fruit! Truly a remarkable wine.
