Lovely Asian spices here. 2014. Dark fruit too. Excellent.

Spiced black cherry, violet, cardamom, underbrush, earth, smoked meat. Weighty but elegant, some lovely primary fruit and cooperage on point. This should integrate nicely but the vintage warmth and generosity is inviting now.

Man this is one helluva village burg. Dark and beguiling, smoky and woodsy berries with a touch of violets, soy, molasses, kirsch and soil. Tannins so refined. High class stuff

Better than expected at this stage, smoke, dark cherries, and more round than expected. Really good.

Final Pintail from last season. Honestly, I have drunk this wine several times from different sources. There is a celery inflection on top of fruit which almost leads you to 2011 except that fruit is richer, deeper. Weird though.

Great fruit purity, but seemingly marred by elevage.

Pale Ruby color with an elegant and rather forward nose is forest floor, raspberry, crushed dried rose petals and cranberry. Complex flavors of spice, red fruit, black tea, black cherry and orange emerge with time in the glass. Vibrant acidity, low tannins and a long finish. Very satisfying
