Beautiful bright savoury expression of Cabernet Franc

Camphor and roasted sour cherry. Cab franc with very little oak influence.

This one did not do it for me. Felt somewhat forced. Both the acid and tannin stuck out. Slight over extraction and yet a hint of carbonic maceration to really confuse my palate. Drunk one three nights and at different temperatures but to no avail. I love my Cab Francs refreshing, and alas this bottle wasn't. Shame.

Delicious yet atypically ripe in flavors, cherry confiture as opposed to tart red cherry. 13%ABV and acidity refreshing. No oak. Native fermentation in concrete tanks, no pump overs.

Beautiful cab franc, rich and delicious, outstanding value.

I’m a huge fan of Loire Cab Franc and this wine is deep and rich. Forest floor and coffee notes on the palate. Black lush fruits. Very balanced and finessed. One of my favorite Saumur wines!!!

Quite good would definitely drink again. Medium to fuller bodied. Helen’s.
