The nose is a bit muted/closed down. Black currants, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, plum, darkish boysenberries, dark, forest floor, black currant syrup, dry leaves, anise to black licorice candy, sandalwood, soft, dry herbs, some light tart notes, dry and withering, dark, red, purple and blue flowers.
The palate is big, thick, rich, lush and ruby. Black currants, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, plum, raspberries, darkish boysenberries, dark, forest floor, black currant syrup, dry leaves, anise to black licorice candy, sandalwood, soft, dry herbs, light; vanilla, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, dark spices, some light tart notes, dry clay, dry top soil, crushed rocks, match stick, dry and withering, dark, red, purple and blue flowers. The acidity is big. Maybe, too much or for now. Good polished, balanced finish wire to wire, good even mix of fruit and earth that lasts minutes.

Vibrant and fit
Acceptable Pinot Noir but still disappointing. Too tannic in the finish, not enough flavor in the attack. This wine will not get better with age.
