Quite curious indeed. A green tobacco vegetal layer blocks access to the heavy cherry fruit. This has absolutely nothing to do with this producer's 09-11 Noirots. Sudden ladybug taint, in 2012, but not 2011?! Baffling. Blind I would've guessed a 2011 Irancy. Somewhat idealistically hoping this is bottle shock; but how on earth could that introduce green aromas?!

Definitely young but there is a nice core of dark fruit and lift from its acidity. This is a bargain. At Bistro Jeanty.

WotN. Elevated flavors with tension and release.

This was the 1er Cru Noirots. We had 2 375 mL bottles at The Morris in SF with the smoked, roasted duck. A great match. As you would expect, a lot of fruit from the 2015 vintage. Nice cut. Fairly deep. A joy.

Expressive Pinot. Savory notes of eucalyptus , cedar, mint. Juicy stuff in the mouth. Cherry, cranberry, intense acid hanging on. Great now and will just keep getting better in the bottle. Incredibly balanced wine 13.5%

ザ、ブルゴーニュのピノという感じ。
強めのタンニンが印象的。

Soft and juicy, but fruit a little faded.
