One of my favourite bubble
Just out of the area of Champagne appellation
Supernatural Like all the wines of the Beaufort family
Doesn't need to be served super cold
Complex and very queffable
Someone would say smashable 🤣
I love it
Great value for money too

A delightful “vin effervescent” made by a Champagne family from vines just outside of Champagne-proper (Aube to be specific). It’s balanced and light on its feet. A very nice mousse. White peach and white flowers with the slightest whiff of brioche. Actually, the most striking thing about this wine is the color which is very nearly copper, yet this is 100% Chardonnay. A touch expensive for something not technically Champagne but the quality is truly there. Charming. Drink now.

2011. Tastes a little bit like Champagne and a little bit like cider...but it's made in Burgundy. Kinda waxy and tangy. Not my thing, but you can tell its personal and that it's made with love.

I needed some time to get used to the wine, combines very good with sushi :-)

Some serious bubbles by Alice & Quentin Beaufort (Jacques Beaufort's son, who runs the eponymous domain in Ambonnay & Polisy) | Le Petit Beaufort Brut Millésime 2010 is a [still young] 75% pinot noir - 25% chardonnay blend from the 'Pays Châtillonnais' in the Côte-d'Or dept | Certified organic, using indigenous yeasts, low sulphites & old barrels ageing | Well-worth checking out

Delicious - lighter on the bubbles, amazing nose. Gentle, great alone and with a triple creme cheese.

Nice wine. Fairly simple and lacks intensity on either side of the spectrum. Not acidic and citrusy. Not rich and fruity or nutty. Bit of funky umaminess. Interesting but not one I would hunt down again
