Domaine Alary
La Grange Daniel
Domaine Alary is my go to Roussanne. Tonight with pan-seared rainbow trout. Showing a tad more roundness than one year ago.

Nov 19th, 2019This tastes a bit like the stone terraces where the grapes grow. Super now and drinkable through 2022. Just as solid as the ‘16, but more minerals. The finish is crisper than ‘16 and the body a bit leaner, but that is not a drawback. The wine is balanced and quaffable and ready for the dining room table.

Aug 25th, 2018Focused and balanced, the 2016 is very good now, but it will improve over the coming year. Basil, wildflower, and chalk nose with sour apricot, peach pit, minerals and a yogurty tang in the palate.

Nov 2nd, 2017Surprisingly energized, focused Roussane. Pretty and structured. No apparent flab.
