Barnyard, intense white pepper, red berry fruit, iron, drying finish.

I don’t ever get tired of this. Has a real power & legs to age, as This is bottle 4 or 5, & still have a few left. Getting sleeker & more integrated. Black fruits, bramble & eucalyptus on nose. Canary wines simply astound me.

Wet hair, barnyard Coca Cola. Light red fruit. Medium tannins. Funky spanish red. Definitely old world esque.

This is really starting to loosen up & get good. Black black cassis & a sinewy, brambly undercurrent. Fine tannins starting to integrate. That smoky minerality thang the Canaries have in spades. Medium bodied but it’s a big wine snuck in. Didn’t decant- that will only help. Woman vintner. Bowler import.

at least a couple of additional tenths of a point because it was better on day 3 than day 1. ashy, volcanic goodness.

Frankincense & rose wafting through a stone cathedral. No wonder they call it Mission.

Oh what a 2+ hour decant will do. This sings much clearer. High toned, but integrated tannins, crushed red fruits & that amazing volcanic thread, and, made by a woman vintner- thus better. I hope I can age a few of these.

Softer drinking Canary, very young in its development so will be curious how it shapes up, & also to try w a decant nxt time. Tightly wound. Plumb notes & integrated tannins now, much smoother than what Ive tasted from the Canaries so far.

Pure volcanic terroir!
