A bit sulfured/reduced and didn't really come out of it after an hour+ open. Not typical NZ Sav Blanc. More rounded and soft. Partial malo? Energetic. Very flinty and nutty with some citrus peel. Not a bad wine, just not showing well right now. I think it has more to offer several years down the road.

What starts as garden hose, shifts to capers then citrus peel. Lovely length and texture with malo and funky edge with roasted almonds. Still amazing. Thanks for putting this on my radar @Dave Kluz !

Carried back from New Zealand a year ago after reading recommendation. Interesting aroma combination of oak a burnt plastic smell. But very flavorful, not a typical Sauvignon Blanc but worth the wait.

Very different, pale straw, fresh herbs, coriander, green capsicum. 18 months on French oak. This is funky, melted plastic, cat urine wine geek juice. Fun, just not an easy recommendation:.. no room on my wine list or in my cellar for this... But interesting

Purposely reductive, dirty juice to barrel, fun and funky Sauv Blanc, flinty, struck match, dill seed, citrus and just plain deliciousness when paired with food. Love it or hate it, but I am a fan!
