Black cherry cream soda and pine forest/eucalyptus flavors and aromatics. Very balanced heavy fruit with lengthy acidity. Has aged beautifully.

I’ll be the first to admit that #willamettevalley #pinotnoir on the label automatically suggests “great wine” - so I had some elevated expectations on this one. Unfortunately even after decanting for a while this one exudes a oxidative prunish nose that obscures a creamy medium-bodied Pinot with dark cherry, raspberry notes and precise tannins. So much of the Pinot Noir experience is in the aroma so this wine is flawed.

V12. Very nice wine. Well balanced, nice extracts and weight. Soft toast bouquet. Peppery blackberry fruit, with earthy and mineral finish. Good dinner wine.
