If Portland wasn't so hip maybe I'd rate it higher. Fresh, bright red berries with soft but vibrant acid and a sense of cleanliness making the wine feel friendly and bright. Cab franc gamay and Pinot noir.. Annoyingly hip but pretty good drinking

On the nose, this is a walk in the woods - all violets, sun-baked brambles, and sweet earthiness. And from there, to the kitchen - grilled red bell pepper, plum sauce, cherry, and smoked black tea. Lean, fresh, and compelling.
