Warm leather nose with a little spice, big warm body, very mild tannins, smooth, leather, a slight tingle of pepper to end. Beautiful. 100% sangiovese. I am a fan.

Easy drinking. Paired with pizza. A bit fruity but more interesting after 30 minutes.

Decided to go crazy and try this with venison ground/stew/chorizo chili on a cold night. The spice plays very well with the bright and open wine. Balanced fruit, dark and ripe, gives just enough sweet to compliment the savory/spicy meal.

Fairly funky on the nose. Dried fruit, oak, and sweet forest aromatics are persistent. Full in the mouth with a fair amount of grip and balanced acidity.
