85 percent montepulciano, 15 aglianico: soft and smooth, but with sour cherry appearing in the long finish.

Interesting wine. It has a fruity hint but a slightly spicy finish. I prefer bolder flavor, this is muted but good. Had with pizza which was a good pairing.

Medium bodied, very dry on opening then softened out. Bright fruit -cherries, plum some spice. Campomarino region on Adriatic coast. Montelpuciano and aglianico blend. Yum. Great with food. This was a 2012.
