An interesting take on Aglianico from outside of the usual suspects, still a little wound up for 7 years with brooding acids and tannin but there’s no doubt this grape always packs a punch above its weight class, especially for under $15 - all dried dark fruits tobacco and leather

Opvallend koele aglianico. Mooi zuur, behoorlijke tannines, lekker maar nog jong. Dit wordt een mooi glas in een jaar of twee :)

Not my kind of wine, had the 2011 vintage, tannic, nice bouquet, very good producer.

Needs to open up but once it does, it's a rather smooth criminal. Smells like a Sangiovese. Dry. Slightly tannic. Medium finish.
