Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of ripe blackberry, ripe black plum, black raspberry, juicy black cherry, rich vanilla, sweet baking spices; dry, medium acid, medium tannins, high alcohol, full body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; intensely flavored wine, big and juicy, but balanced with structure, bold and concentrated, very good; had it with Moroccan stuffed eggplant
