Nose is ripe and a bit funky but will blow off. Stunning purity and freshness and so many seashells. Also a mineral liquid gum drop thing happening. Palate is ripe, treacly and racy with awesome purity and freshness. Silky and juicy. Very long. Terrific concentration, focus and energy. Very very pure. Silky and deep. Just a tremendous bottle.

This has aged into a chiseled masterpiece. Unreal Chablisean perfume of crushed stones, white flowers, some broth, some wet grass and mud, tree bark and pollen. Unreal complexity. Super complex and very mineral driven palate with lovely purity and sap. Terrific balance and great freshness from a combo of minerality and acidity. Long finish and great texture.

Terrific rich and deep nose of savory minerals and an elite airiness. Also a hint if that classic Pommier richness. Pure and fresh. Palate is deep, rich, savory and incisive. Mouth-filling and deep. Awesome structure and finesse. So well made. Flavors of lemon, lemon pith and some savory elements. Has years to go. Truly great.

Oh man this slays today. Nose is minerals, some fat, lime zest, seashells. So good. Salty. Love this richness of Pommier gets in the aroma. Palate is ripe, zesty as all can be, with zowie batman energy but seems initially a bit closed. Like it’s missing it’s finish and mid palate. But the materials are all there and the finish is a thing of beauty. I’ll be back.

This has the wonderful Chablis stank in the nose, that brothy, wet limestone, earthiness, along with hay and lemon oil inflected Chardonnay fruit. Nice weight in the mouth. Mouthwatering acids buoy it up nicely. Tongue-tingling acidity and minerality. Damn I love the 14s. And the color is that green-tinged light gold that was more common a few decades ago, but which you don’t see that much anymore.

Huge feral, wild, sauvage, mineral and fantastic nose. Classic Fourchaume and classic Pommier. So precise yet wild at the same time. Juicy and very complex with insane grip and freshness yet also coats the palate with a layer of richness. Long finish. So pure. What balance and poise. Truly almost Grand Cru.

Great sense of tension and salinity. Needs time though. Approachable young but will keep getting better. Great start.

Dinner party, notes will be limited.
Holy S! Great, even strawberry skin and seashell on the nose, just beautiful.

Classic Pommier stank on the nose. Acid not there. Will revisit.

Halloween wine! 🎃 This is in the zone right now. My goodness. Sweet sweet lime, oyster seashells, touch of gras, fat, but so mineral and sweet limey and seashelly. Wow. Stunning depth. Palate is compact and balanced with wonderful structure and depth. Good minerality and so fine-grained. Lovely length, poise and purity. Really long. This is the best wine Pommier makes.
