Four Flags Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
100% Cabernet, aged French oak (78% new), deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits, herbs and sweet floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with floral herbs, earthy oak and black pepper. Fine dusty tannins, long. finish ending with fruit, toasty oak and herb pepper spice. Will age well!

Aug 13th, 2020Interesting wine for me... super fruity and supple. This typical NV Cab imbiber got way out of the Cabernet Comfort Zone with this and a perfectly cooked tri-tip. Drink with an open mind.

Mar 20th, 2019A dark ruby beauty that really evolved over time. Black cherry, evolved into big cherry, fig, tobacco, dark chocolate. Lingering finish.

It soothes with its silky textures and ripe red and blue fruits, as a pleasant inner sweetness resonates, nicely complemented by zesty acidity. This finishes remarkably fresh with subtly grippy tannins that linger. The 2019 mixes vivid fruit, energy and power in a way that I find wildly appealing. (Eric Guido, Vinous, March 2023)
