Aug 8th, 2024A subdued but very Pessac-like nose has some toastiness, a teensy amount of grassiness, a little lanolin, fig, and a bit of steely minerality. Replace the steely minerals with some gravel and it would be a dead ringer. Very crisp and lean in the mouth. A little more ripeness and generosity would have helped, but this is still pretty good.

Dec 20th, 2021Toasty vanilla, creme brûlée, spice, tropical fruit, hedonistic and delicious but not cloying or flabby. Wonderful cold weather white for hearty fare

Nose has delicate yellow fruits, a waxy lanolin Semillon thing, and some toasty oak. Dark and low toned in the mouth — almost like a red— but very persistent and nicely balanced. Needs a delicate fish dish as a counterpoint to shine. (Not great with turkey.)

Nov 28th, 2019This could of been a Bordeaux Blanc from years past really nice fig and hay ,golden delicious apple butterscotch medium bodied - very well made Bordeaux styled blend 68% Sauvignon Blanc and 32% Semillon made in a style not seen a lot these days
