2013 tasted in 12/2018. Inky purple, full bodied. Pungent reductive aromas initially that dissipate with aeration, decanting helps. Black pepper, cured meat and black fruit punch in the nose. Hints of savory black cardamom spice. Very fragrant. Palate follows the nose with tremendous concentration, tannins are young, great acid structure. This is one for the cellar. I’m almost ashamed to have opened it so early.. but I couldn’t help myself and I can’t really say I regret it.
