2018. Light straw color. Mild oakiness and tannins. Fresh flavors of white peach and pear.

Apr 6th, 2021Don’t know where Gay Dons is but it made me laugh. This is a pretty typical everyday Chardonnay. Medium body with some acidity. Oak on the nose and a little buttery but not a bomb. Got it on the wine markdown so opened it to make a tarragon Dijon cream sauce for chicken and figured I’d slug some down while cooking.

Very good value at BevMo on a buy one and get the second for a nickel. Rich, smooth with a big buttery finish. Wife loved it.
