Tasted double-blind. This struck me as Chablis. It was super fresh with citrus and minerals...I was almost positive I was right. As it turns out, I was duped by this gorgeous Chardonnay from Piemonte! IIRC, this vineyard is owned by the De Forville family. It’s aged exclusively in stainless steel and the quality of the fruit is obvious. I love it when I’m wrong and introduced to something new and delicious.

If you're going to go steel in your chard, maybe look for a richer terroir. brackish nose, Bartlett pear and a little lemon. A bit unripe but still a good food wine,

Funky. There was something off about this bottle, but it wasn't any of the obvious culprits. I like this producer for Nebbiolo and would be interested to try a chard from the region.
