Dec 18th, 2016Fun supermarket pick. Nose of gravel, olive tapanade, blue/purple fruit, black pepper. Juicy. Easy to drink. Tannins are a bit harsh(not sure if it is stems or something was underripe?), possibly accentuated by the pepper character. Not bad, just seems a bit out of place.

Really delicious flavours - unusual to have gamay blend into Syrah. Nice spicy notes, but a bit too light for me - but still very pleasant to drink!

A succesfull syrah-dominating blend, pleasent to drink, fresh, unoaked, but has short aftertaste. Requires some food to be drunk with.
