Primary red berry fruits on nose. The palate showing the Gamay providing a soft spicy element. Made to be drunk young. Excellent marketing and presentation from de Bortoli.

Fun supermarket pick. Nose of gravel, olive tapanade, blue/purple fruit, black pepper. Juicy. Easy to drink. Tannins are a bit harsh(not sure if it is stems or something was underripe?), possibly accentuated by the pepper character. Not bad, just seems a bit out of place.

Really delicious flavours - unusual to have gamay blend into Syrah. Nice spicy notes, but a bit too light for me - but still very pleasant to drink!

A succesfull syrah-dominating blend, pleasent to drink, fresh, unoaked, but has short aftertaste. Requires some food to be drunk with.

Yeah this is pretty nice stuff. Super easy drinking. Slips down without making you think too much. Good on its own, good with food. Pretty handy sort of wine to keep around.

Not bad, little short on the pallet and lacking robust or fruity flavour
