Over the weekend we opened the 2018 David Paige Wines Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. From Carlton, Oregon and a blend of grapes from Chehalem Mountains, Ribbon Ridge and Eola-Amity Hills.

On the nose there was strawberry, cranberry, cherry, clove, mushroom, hibiscus, vanilla and earth.

On the palate there is tart cherry, raspberry, cranberry, clove, mushroom, vanilla and earth.

This is a medium bodied wine with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that moves easily into a long red fruit earthy finish. A very nice expression of Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley. Have a wonderful week ahead and my it be positive and productive. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

The wine of the evening I have opened is the 2018 David Paige Wines Pinot Noir. This wine is from the Willamette Valley Carlton, Oregon.

On the nose there is cherry, strawberry, raspberry, spice, light oak and earthy notes.

On the palate I am able to detect cherry, raspberry, strawberry, baking spice, black olive and earth.

This wine is medium bodied smooth mouthfeel with medium to medium + acidity wnd medium fine tannins that leave you with a medium to long red fruit earthy finish. As we push forward to the weekend and Christmas week let us remember to think of others less fortunate than ourselves and help in anyway we can. Please stay safe and healthy as we continue our week. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
