The wine was medium-ruby in colour and offered cherry, raspberry, bacon fat, spices, liquorice, some smoke, moss, forest floor and herbal notes on the nose. On the palate the wine showed sweet fruit, cherry, raspberry, red currant, spices, liquorice, mushroom, smoke and herbal notes, paired with medium-plus acidity, medium-level slightly coarse tannin, a rich mouthfeel and very good length. A solid affordable, medium-bodied, balanced, fruity, medium-spicy Pinot Noir that - for Swiss standards - delivered against its price. 88
