I have been thinking and overthinking about this magnum we've had after the Burgundy section and I believe we have been extremely lucky. We did not have huge expectations, but the wine sang marvelously. To me this was a special bottle of which it will be very hard to get hold again.

Boy this #languedoc red blend starts off pretty rough but opens up considerably once it breathes. Laid back fruit, medium light body, earthy and quite spicy on the finish. Pairs well with wood-fired pizza but not really that special of a wine.

I made a mistake with this purchase, thinking I was buying Mas de Daumas Gassac. This wine was not meant to age this long, and was aged out long ago. Likely a nice fruity wine 10 years ago, but long gone now.

Dark berries and fruity. Smooth. Medium body. A nice blend of Cab (40%) Syrah (35%) and Merlot (25%). Went well w short ribs and root veggies.

Completely agree with another reviewer, this wine opens really acidic and rough around the edges but smooths out quite nice after a good breather. After a little patience, paired well with our evening trapped inside by a snow storm. ❄️🍷

Dry, light, kind of berry fruit tasting, nothing harsh anywhere and perfect for food and sipping after
