This sake is in a tough spot. Overshadowed by its big brother 23, and conversely ripped on by some tasters because it is Dassai. Judging it merely on taste and quality it is outstanding. Guava, apricot, some stewed bamboo shoots and a touch of black licorice. A touch on the sweet side but very balanced, and a precise dry finish.
I feel it is Dassai's best offering.

A delightful nose of flowers & "white plums", if there are such things. A sort of smooth chewy white peach evolves on the palate that leads to a well-rounded, soft & lingering finish.

Consistently good and not terribly expensive. Green apple, off-dry and very round and polished.
