Pale salmon with berry aromas. On the palate strawberry and cherry flavors with biscuit notes on tiny bubbles, sharp acidity, dry, on a medium finish ending with some floral and yeasty tones. Ok, but better ones out there. Tasting Sample.

I tell you this horse is a mudder. His mudder was a mudder. His father was a mudder. Exploding out of the gate with bright acidity and racing towards a quick finish, I'll take this horse any day. #QPR

Used this as a base for a Sangria with strawberries and limes. So refreshing!

Thankful for this being a "limited release" because it just sucks as a Rose. This is White Zin and I'm not talking about good quality white Zin. This is bottom shelf white Zin next to the Boone's Farm wilder berry. It is dry but the peach overtones are so out of whack that it's almost sweet. I literally choked this down to get through the sampling. Before you haters say that I'm being biased because it's a Gallo project listen up! I actually enjoy the Dark Horse Merlot & Cab Sauv for what they are. This Rose is a classic example of what to expect this 2016 Rose season. Every vineyard is jumping on the Rose bandwagon and absolutely should not! CONSUMERS BEWARE!! We in the business have been trying for the past several years to convince consumers that Rose is not white Zin. This example just sets us back a decade of capitalized shit juice pressed to a pink hue. Avoid this like imitator! If you're a white Zin drinker you will absolutely enjoy it. If you're making a festive pink sangria then use this as a base. If you want to experience Rose then buy something else for a reputable region and producer. You can get good quality Loire valley Rose at this price point.

Surprisingly good, only $8 or $9. A little sweet but not too.
